I'm following a Sunday release schedule for Dolcett Girls and today I have the second chapter posted on the site.
Dolcett Girls 02: First Night Jitters
This is a lovely chapter that sets up a lot of the scenes for later. One of the biggest points is the grill in the backyard. My grandmother had this grill, though a little smaller, and I always loved crawling inside it and closing the door. I'm sure that meant something, but I still remember the rusty grill and how it squeaked as I pulled it shut.
