The first arc comes out to 51k words and sixteen chapters. It ends with a brutal fight scene that would best be described as a slaughter.
Our main character, Erlea, had turned out to be a wonderfully brutal bee girl with energy blasts (na, I'm not in love with Bumblebee at all), adorable wings, and the ability to summon terrible monsters.
Along the way, she will have a number of companions. Her first is Miere, another bee girl who has the ability to shape and transform paper and wax. She is also Erlea's lover, or will be as soon as she loses her virginity to some monster.
Her second companion is Billie, a beetle girl with the ability to shape-change her arms into various weapons. She is just as violent as Erlea with a lust that cannot be sated by mere monsters for long.
As this is the first of three arcs, there is a lot more to the story but I have to switch gears. I still have an outstanding commission I need to finish before the end of the year and my ultimate patron (my wife) has requested me to write a little mother/sons incest novel after that. Since she has been supporting my porn-writing habit for twenty-three years and she's never requested a novel before, I'm going to say she gets to dictate the December project.
