For all of my lovely subscribers, I'm releasing the next batch of chapters of Puppy Mill 2. This comes out to 10,243 words which is higher than my threshold but frankly I've been slacking off. Not to mention over half it was from chapter 32.
These chapters ended up being rather plot-heavy without much fucking. Much of this is because I'm setting the groundwork for the plot of this arc. The biggest one is Merrie being forced back to Franome City to rejoin with the Bedwarmer's Guild.
It also has a rather fun fight scene between my favorite puppy girl and Diffy, Count Blood's infernal daughter. It also gives me a chance to have a fight between an amputee with shadow powers and a gothic lolita with a cleaver.
As usual, opinions and comments are always appreciated.
This week I also started posting chapters of the piece on a week-by-week basis, which is my normal way of posting stories. It has been quite a while since I've had something going but I can easily post a weekly chapter until the end of the year with what I have now. Patreons get the chance to read the entire thing instead of waiting a year for the story, not to mention asking for changes as I write.
I'm sorry for disappearing for a few months. Work got really nasty and my entire family got sick. Things had to give and unfortunately the patreon suffered. I'm just glad I got a nice 10k word block on this story. There will be more coming for next month.
In other news, the editor finished working on Derik's Luck. This means I should be able to process the changes and start working toward getting that novel published. It will also be nice to have another book done; patreons will get the edits by going to the page as I handle them.
