It has been months since I finished anything. There are a lot of reasons for this, most of them are little things that have been pecking on my attention. The biggest is Fluffy's pregnancy. She's due… um, Friday.
It has always been almost half a year since I posted anything for free. That, at least, I can change that. Some months ago, a fan requested on my home page another Urotsukidōji fan-fiction for one of their favorite scents from New Saga. The result is my third expansion on Toshio Maeda's fantastic series.
At the highest point of her life, Harumi sang and danced on stage in front of countless fans. Her fame reached into households across Japan with her innocent demeanor and trademark yellow. But, the life of a J-Pop idol was a hard one and one moment of weakness brought it all crashing down.
Watching her fall was Ozaki, a young man destined for both greatness and horrific things. But, in that moment, he was one of Harumi’s one true fan and worshiped her from afar, unable to ever touch is idol.
Fallen Idol is a novella that shows how the lives of these two intertwine until the fateful moment when the two finally have one another at the worst possible times. It changes the scenes between Ozaki and a nameless victim in Urotsukidōji: A New Saga into a heartbreaking scene of love and obsession.
I'm pretty proud of this, naturally. It is a longish novel at around thirty thousand words. It is written in the same style is That Poor Nurse with the point of view of both the victim and the demon.

This is also the first time I've tried to use Flattr to fund a story. It was… different but it works out nicely; one advantage is that Flattr isn't as picky about funding snuff stories as say Paypal. And I got to take something off my request list.
