A very long time ago, I wrote a story called Chocolate Basket. I posted it on a forum where a few people pointed me to Dolcett Girls Forum. I said “why not”. I think within a week, I was the technical administrator of the site.
I drifted from the site (but still occasionally maintain it) but I remained friends with Perro, the guy who created the site for over ten years.
In 2009, I wrote this novel as a way of encouraging people to contribute. It kind of back-fired, but I still thought it was a fun novel which is why I'm doing it as a weekly serial.
Sadly, Perro isn't doing too well. The last I heard, he was in the hospital and there are others struggling to keep the site running while he was unavailable. For years, he's run probably one of the largest cannibal forums I know about and does it almost entirely out of his own pocket. It has been hard on him and knowing that he is struggling now is even more frustrating. I help where I can.
