This was entirely rewritten. In the original version, Meris hung herself and it was over in only three paragraphs. This version is a… bit extended by about four thousand words. There is also a lot more knife-play and blood. I hope you enjoy it, it is a lot more personal and visceral than before and hopefully more romantic.
