And this is the end of the novel. I could have dragged it out another week or so, but I'm on vacation so I'm throwing all of it out at once. The title for the last chapter is a spoiler for chapter forty-three, so if you don't want to have it ruined, just follow that last link.

So, there was never a question if this would end as a happy ending. The novel is a romance, though an atypical one. It was a question of how they would find their happily ever after.

In the original version, Sonja gutted herself and crawled into the soup pot with Meris and herself. The second chapter had the ghost wandering around the hose, looking at all the men and women killed inside it before ending up down in the basement where the only two happy ghosts, Sonja and Meris, were loving each other.

This ending is… longer by a long shot. It also has a reasonable gap between the last two chapters, but I think it ends up with the same scene. Plus, old women are just as hot, I don't care what anyone says. All women are beautiful.

So, thank you for reading this. I always want to know opinions, but this was a labor of love both seven years ago and this last year. Those who read it in 2009 will find a much different story. I also have to thank “a fan” for encouraging me to rework and expand sections instead of blindly posting what I wrote all those years ago.

For anyone who likes what I've been writing and want to see more, consider checking out my (new) patreon page. The more subscribers, the faster I'll be writing. I might also create a game set in my fantasy world, for those who like that type of thing.

Thank you.

Dolcett Girls 44: Forty-Three Years Later (F-solo tort rom viol sn)

Decades later, Sonja returns to the house in hopes of meeting up with her lover once again. There was only one thing left to do, kill herself. Could she do it? Would Meris be waiting for her on the other side?
