“Erlea, you seem distracted,” said Miere in a soft voice as she sat down next to her lover.

Erlea was sitting in Tira's living room, her back straight as her wings remained straight with only the tips caressing the shaped wooden floor. She smiled at Miere and shrugged. “I was thinking, sorry.”

“About what?” Miere looked nervous.

Erlea knew it was about her joining the rest in the fight against the Shucks. She knew what Billie thought and part of Erlea knew that the Kever was right, a bee-affinity Honningbie was better suited for staying in the hive but there were no hives to leave Miere behind.

She had asked Tira about a hive, but the nearest was three zones to the south, the opposite direction they needed to go to chase after Shuck.

Unwilling to continue that topic, Erlea gestured toward the front door where Tira had left about an hour before. “My affinity, actually.”

“Goblin?”

“I'm… I'm not sure anymore.”

“You aren't sure,” asked Miere. “Why?”

Erlea caught sight of Billie standing near the stairs leading down into the bedroom area of the tree. The Kever looked curious but there was a frown on her face also.

“Tira took me to see some goblins.”

Miere gripped Erlea's hand, pulling it to her large breast. “What? Why? Were you raped?” Her wings buzzed violently.

“No!” gasped Erlea. “No, not at all. But she did bring two moths that had affinity to show me how it looks.”

“But you get turned on by goblins!”

Billie suddenly stepped in the room. “You don't?” she asked Miere.

Miere shook her head and pulled a face. “No, those cocks are horrible. They… my stomach gets turned every time I think about it.”

Even the brief conversation was enough to bring a warmth spreading through Erlea. “I find myself craving it, but according to Tira, almost all breeders get turned on by anyone capable of breeding them. That isn't affinity.”

Billie looked thoughtful as she nodded.

“It's different. The two girls? They couldn't resist the goblins. They were screaming for fighting, they were crawling over to the goblins and almost begging to be fucked.”

Miere shuddered. “That's horrible.”

“No,” Erlea said as she stroke Miere's breast. “No, I think Tira is right. I saw Nilli with the rats. She wanted to be fucked, she was holding onto them so they would continue to fuck her.”

Her lover didn't say anything but her wings fanned out to betray her thoughts. She turned as she made another face.

“Billie? Do you think that's right?”

Billie looked torn for a moment. Then she sank down on a thick, padded hassock that the moths used for furniture. “I…” She gulped. “That sounds right. My Saroia would get turned on whenever she was with the others but she never lost control. Nilli? We had to make sure someone checked on her when she insisted on going into the woods alone.”

She looked at Miere and then back to Erlea. “That's what the guard bees do when they weren't guarding the hive, looking for Honningbies that were being raped by their monsters. But, if that is true, what is your affinity?”

Erlea whimpered. “I don't know. The first time was a goblin, I was sure, but what Tira showed me makes sense.”

“I never heard of a Honningbie that didn't know her affinity. You don't forget your first time, ever.”

Erlea's wings slumped.

“Maybe it was a Shuck? That would explain why you are powerful.”

“That was days before the invasion.”

“Scout?”

Erlea tried to imagine the massive Shuck cock impaling her pussy. It was huge and powerful, capable of snapping her hip and tearing her open. It was also alluring, a thick ridge that she wanted to feel driving deep into her body, dominating her until she was nothing more than a hole to fuck.

With the increase heat flushing her body, she squirmed. “Maybe?”

“Do you remember your flash?”

“No.”

Billie frowned for a moment. “Tira?”

“She can only tell me what it isn't. I believe her, it isn't goblin. Judging from my reactions, it isn't spider either.” The flush grew hotter at the memory of being impregnated by the eggs.

All three were silent for a moment, only the Honningbie wings making noise as they fluttered with thoughts.

“What do we do?” Erlea finally asked.

Billie shrugged. “I don't know. Either we stay here and find out what makes you lose your mind or we keep going and find the limits the hard way.”

Miere whimpered. “I think we should stay in this zone and find out.”

Billie turned on her, the sharpness of her movements suddenly obvious. “Why?”

“Because we have to know.”

“Or because you are afraid since you can't improve?”

“Billie!” snapped Erlea.

Billie's face twisted in a scowl. “What? We are going against what would be the most powerful being any of us have ever encountered. What we thought was a limit of yours is gone but we know that she's going to become stagnate. She can't improve, no matter how far we go!”

Erlea's eyes burned with tears. “I know, but… you don't have to snap at her.” She turned to her lover. “She made a mistake. We all know that. Right now, we have to decide how to move forward.”

“Leave her,” snarled Billie.

From the door, Tira interrupted. “Take her.”

All three breeders jumped.

Billie half stood up. “What?”

“Take her,” Tira said as she entered her home. She had a bag over one shoulder which she set down by the entrance. “If she has an affinity for bees, leaving her alone in a village of moths is the same as killing her.”

Billie straightened as her arm formed into a sword. “What would you know about bees?”

Tira didn't seem bothered. “I know affinity. Having one for another breeder? That's a life of hell.”

Miere whimpered and ducked her head.

“Forcing Miere to stay here will be torture. Even if she can't have an orgasm ever again—”

Erlea froze.

“—is nothing compared to be isolated. If she can't be with a bee, it is even worse. I don't know a single breeder with a breeder affinity that didn't kill themselves when they were isolated. She will either stop eating, crawl into a hole, or throw herself at more powerful monsters until she is torn apart.”

Billie scoffed.

“You should know, Kever. Why did you leave your home?”

Billie rolled her eyes. “I fucked everything in the zone three times.”

“What happens if you stayed?”

“I wouldn't.”

“What if you were forced to stay?”

Billie froze, the scowl easing up.

Tira crossed her arms underneath her breasts, lifting the large mounds up. She had the same smile that Erlea saw on the branch. “That feeling right there, right now? That's what this bee is going to be feeling if you leave. Now imagine it going on for day after day, surrounded by the same creatures and monsters that you've already fucked so many times you can not come again.”

Billie glanced at Miere, her look was a mixture of pity, sadness, and frustration.

Miere's wings slumped as she looked back and forth between the three other breeders. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she looked like she had just been disemboweled.

Tira cocked her head slightly. “Do you think we should leave her behind?”

Billie's body grew tense for a moment and then she sank down with a sob in her throat. “No.”

Erlea let out her breath, she didn't realize she had held it.

Miere sobbed and leaned into Erlea, holding her tight. “I'm sorry,” she cried.

Erlea stroked her love. “Does this mean we should head to another hive instead? To make sure she is safe?”

Miere's grip tightened.

Fighting her own tears, Erlea looked at Tira hoping the moth had the answers.

Tira shrugged and sat down next to Billie. She was short compared to the Kever. “You are talking at least a week worth of travel to get the hives to the south and back.”

“Are there hives to the north, in the same direction? Or maybe even slightly out of the way?”

Tira frowned as she looked up. “Maybe? The Gilden Hive is to the north but further to the east. It's the same path up to Monefuck City, but then we would head east for seven zones instead of going north to the Shuck lands. There is is a path between the Poppy Fields and the Wolf Lands so we can head straight. Maybe a week out of your way again?”

Erlea tried to picture it for a moment. “How far away is Monefuck? Is there shelter there?”

Tira snorted. “Monefuck is a city of monsters living together. Practically random encounters every few steps. That's a bad place to be for breeders, a really bad place.”

Erlea's pussy clenched with anticipation. “But it gets us closer, right?”

A nod.

She looked at the others. No one else looked like they were offering to take charge. It was up to her. A week out of their way here, where it was safe, or much later. The latter would keep Miere closer to her, where Erlea could defend her.

“Erlea?” whispered Miere.

Erlea knew she should take Miere to the southern hive but her heart resisted. “Can we get Miere up to the Gilden Hive safely?”

“She's going to get raped,” said both Tira and Billie at the same time.

Miere cringed.

“Though,” Tira continued. “Chances are, we're all going to get fucked a lot on this trip. So, cock is cock and we'll leave a horde of baby monsters behind us as we go.”

Erlea worried her lip. Then she turned to Miere. “Can you handle that?”

Miere's eye lit up. “Stay with you?”

“You are going to get hurt.”

“I can heal though and craft. I might not be able to do a lot, but I can do something.”

Billie started to say something, but then closed her mouth.

Erlea had to make a decision. She took a deep breath. “We'll aim for the Gilden Hive. That way, you'll be with us almost until the very end. It will be harder, but I think it should be—”

Miere let out a cry of happiness and hugged her tightly. Her large breasts ground against Erlea's naked mounds. “Thank you!”

Erlea glance at Billie.

The Kever sighed and held up her hands. There was a mixture of sadness and regret on her face. However, she had given Erlea the choice. Erlea could see it in the beetle's eyes. Without another noise, she got up and headed toward the stairs leading into the bedrooms.
