As someone mentioned on GUROchan, writing a smutty story without starting off with a bang is a hard sell. The problem is, I like a lot of story in my smut. Not to say I don't like a randy scene where everyone gets monkey-fucked, just sometimes the story needs a bit of an introduction before we get to it.
Also, chapter one is when Quinn is a little girl. While I have no problem with underaged or age-play stories, I have a tendency not to share them in public. The ones I have written are usually social commentaries (Special Treats and Daughter of Justice are two examples). The political environment doesn't make me feel safe, so I don't share them.
That would lead into the second chapter. I considered starting off with a mastrubation scene (the same way I started Eliza and the Raptor), but it didn't feel right. Neither did walking to the Mountain Cunt. So, it ended up being chapter four that we start to really get into the sexuality of our leading lady, Quinn.
This also fits my normal style where the sex ramps up throughout the story. We have a little mastrubation here, some threesomes, and that “naturally” leads into tentacle rape. It may not be naturally, but that's how I wrote it.
