I like stories with a lot of plot, if you can't tell from the number of “no sex” chapters to this point. However, the next chapter is filled with lovely fucking but there are some key points in this one that I needed to have in the story.
From the sealed Omelas, Merci was the town slut. She loved to fuck everyone except for the first Omelas. She even cheated on her husband (Jed's father) before eventually marrying Pieter.
Now, Meris knows what Quinn is. Barratt, the creature from the Ring Villages, had chosen Quinn the night that Rin died after years of being fucked and tortured. The whole reason they left (chapter one) was because she thought she could escape giving her daughter to the creature. Well… I think the hints of what is going to happen have already showed up.
The last part are the runes. I'm not into scat, so I use the “cleansing rune” pretty heavily basically to allow safe anal sex without worrying about diseases or nasty things. My only foray into that was Puppy Mill, but that is probably my opus when it comes to epic fantasty and fucking. Even there… not my thing. :) But that rune is important because Rober really likes to fuck asses. Even virgin ones like Quinn's.
