For quite a few years (well, since 1991 or so), I've been posting erotic and bloody stories on my website for anyone to read. That worked out pretty well when I was a teenager living in my parent's house or a twenty-something writing some porn between classes. Life changes, though, and now I'm in a position where free has become a struggle to maintain.
I have no desire to ever include ads on this website unless they are for projects I control, that includes almost all of Curious Cabbit and the associated “authors” (mostly me wearing different thongs).
On the other hand, I like when someone reads stories. I love comments, I love fan art and fiction, I love the interactions. So, I decided to hope on Patreon to help pay for my writing and relieve the financial pressure of running an erotic words site for better part of three decades (hint, I'm not twenty anymore).
I know that a number of the readers here have given me money for commissions or straight out donations. Most of them will get a “freebie” subscription if they want it.
My current plan is simple. Anyone who subscribes at $1 or more a month gets all the novels and stories I've published and aren't freely available. That includes Eliza and the Raptor, The Mummy's Girl, and all the stories I've written. It also includes all the works-in-progress. And, this first one will be Omelas 2: Stolen Sacrifice which is a tentacle breeding novella.
At the $5 range, you get to make changes. That might be votes (say if Sonja lives or dies at the end of Dolcett Girls, the alternative endings, or simply which project I'm going to work on next.
There is a big carrot with these too. If I can get a $25/month commitment, I will get Derik's Luck edited and published. This is my big story filled with transgender submissive guys, torture, and some of the most enjoyable characters I've ever created. If Dolcett Girls is any indication, it will be work to get it updated, but it probably won't be a freebie (for a long while).
So, if you want to support me, even at a dollar a month, please consider it? It will help me write and I promise I will produce at least a long story every month (or at least my weekly serials).
